Kalk Bay Cottages

We offer self catering accommodation dating back to the early 1900's situated in the historical fishing village of Kalk Bay with views of False Bay, the harbour and mountains. Swim in one of the three tidal pools, soak up the sun at the local beaches, purchase fresh fish from the harbour and stroll into the village.  Enjoy numerous excellent restaurants and cocktail bars as well as a kaleidoscope of shops with lots of  South African spun goods on sale.

 

NOTE: We don't bookings for less than 3 nights unless there is a gap so please do enquire.

Whalers cottage offers two bedrooms (one queen bed and the other twins) and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one en-suite. The open plan living area with views of the harbour offers a fully equipped kitchen, a large comfortable lounge and double doors that open onto a breakfast verandah. There is also a secluded courtyard with barbeque facilities. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. Ideal for families for 2 couples.

Pineapple Cottage offer 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and the other twins) with a separate bathroom and outside private hot and cold shower. It has an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. The living area has 2 double doors leading to private courtyards, one side under cover eating nook and the other to the barbeque area. The front entrance and veranda has views of the sea and harbour. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 guests.  Ideal for families.

Whalers Studio adjoins Whalers cottage with its own private entrance. It is an open plan studio which includes a queen bed, shower bathroom (including a washing machine), inside seating area and a kitchen nook which is well equipped. It has a private deck area overlooking the sea and harbour. The cottage sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. Ideal for single person or couple.
